When Louis wasn't logging he was filling his time as a heavy machine operator and carpenter. He has recently purchased his own machine,the Terex show in the picture below and he is ready to dig.His experience in the building and construction trades ranges from building houses to laying pavers to clearing fields and digging basements by hand. He is able to use all of this knowledge to give informed quotes to his customers.

The following pictures are of an excavation job that Louis worked on in Burke, Vt. The owner of the land provided the excavator,dump truck and bull doser. Louis operated all three. The area for the pond was cleared and logged by him also. Louis and the land owner collaborated with the design and construction of the pond and surrounding landscapes.
